Frequently Asked QuestionsWhat do you sell? We are based in Portugal and sell organically home grown chilli seeds, plants and pods, we don't use any chemical fertilizers, herbicides or pesticides so you can enjoy natural gardening and the taste of our unspoiled products. We also have a small farm in Cornwall where we grow chilli plants and fresh pods for ease of delivery. What are your postage costs? The delivery cost for seeds is just £0.80 so no matter how many you buy you will only pay 80p in total! Due to a glitch in the paypal shopping basket system you may get charged more p&p but I will refund the extra to your paypal account as soon as possible, see below if you wish to pay by cheque etc. Costs for other items such as chillis and plants can be found out at checkout (add to basket then view basket to find out the postage costs, don't worry you will be told all costs before you agree to buy). Do I have to have a PayPal account to buy? No, you can use the shopping basket facility without joining paypal, just 'view basket' and you will be given the option of paying directly with your credit card. Can I pay without a credit card? Yes, we accept cheques, postal orders and bank transfers, please email chillifarm@safieurope.com with your shopping list and we will send you the necessary details How do I grow my Chillis? Every order includes a free chilli germination and growing guide with detailed information on how to grow your plants from sowing seeds to harvesting pods it also contains tips on watering, repotting and planting out. Why do you only have plants and fresh chillis at certain times of the year? We only sell chilli plants in spring and summer, likewise fresh chillis can only be harvested at the right time of year.
